Greek Gyros Wraps

Travel to Greece with these simple and delicious gyros wraps.

  • Frypan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Mixing spoon
  • Tongs



  • 1 Cucumber (diced)
  • ½ Red onion (diced)
  • 1 Tomato (diced)
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper

Chicken Marinade

  • 1 kg Chicken Thigh/ Tenderloin
  • ½ cup Greek yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp Garlic dip
  • 2 tbsp Dried oregano
  • ½ Lemon (juiced)
  • Salt and pepper

Tzatziki sauce

  • 3 tbsp Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp Garlic dip
  • 1 Cucumber (diced)
  • ½ tsp Dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper


  • Greek pita wraps



  • Combine greek yoghurt, garlic dip, dried oregano, lemon juice and salt and pepper. Mix until all well combined. Place chicken into marinade and set it aside in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes.
  • Pan fry chicken until golden and cooked through.


  • Dice all vegetables. Add dried oregano, salt and pepper then mix. Set aside.


  • Combine all sauce ingredients and mix well. Add small amounts of water to achieve desired consistency.


Consistency of sauce is subject to personal preference. Heat up the pitta bread according to instructions on packet if not cooked fresh.
